Wandsworth Food Poverty Research Report published

Wandsworth Foodbank has today launched its research paper ‘Experiences of food poverty in the London Borough of Wandsworth’. The report looks at data from Wandsworth Foodbank, as well as from interviews carried out with 25 foodbank users and the survey of Voucher Providers who refer guests to the foodbank

The report contains a number of recommendations. Introducing them, the report states:

We are pleased to be part of a community response that is helping local people in crisis who are facing hunger. However, we strongly believe that the social security system provided by local and national government should be the primary safety net for all Wandsworth residents.
