This course is part of the Wandsworth Advice training programme, which works to improve the skills of advisers working within the non-profit advice sector in Wandsworth

Open to: staff and volunteers of non-profit advice providing organisations based and providing services to Wandsworth residents only. This course is not open to organisations who do not hold charitable status

Cost: Wandsworth Advice is covering the costs of this event so it will be free to participants

  • What can be done legally to change a Council’s mind
  • The process
  • A look at local options eg referral to other advice providers

This course is relevant to advisers working with client groups where an improved knowledge of this area of social welfare law would assist them in their work
